Welcome to Anupama Written Update 13th January 2025. In this written update, we follow the ongoing story of our favourite characters as they face new challenges, share emotional moments, and continue their journey. In Today’s Episode, Confrontation between Anupama and Mrs. Kothari that leads to bad feelings on both sides. As the Shah family prepares for the Makar Sankranti festival, old hurts and new tensions come up, especially between Rahi, Prem, and Mahi….. Now Let’s read out the latest drama, relationships, and unexpected events that happened through our scene-wise Anupama Written Update.
Scene 1: A Lesson in Humility
On a busy street, Anupama faces Mrs. Kothari after their cars almost crash. “You need to say sorry,” Anupama tells Mrs. Kothari in a calm but firm voice. Mrs. Kothari looks at her watch and says, “I do not have time for this. I need to go pray.” This makes Anupama speak up. “Rich people like you do not really pray,” she says. “You just go to show others that you pray.” The kind driver steps up to help. “It was my fault,” he says. “I was driving too fast.” But Anupama knows better. She looks at Mrs. Kothari and says, “See? This is how rich people act. They think they are better than everyone else.” Mrs. Kothari gets mad at this. She points at Anupama and says, “Oh? And what about people like you? Middle-class people also think they are special.” She tells Anupama to look at how she is acting right now.
Keshav, who is watching all this, gets in the driver’s seat. But Anupama does not give up. “First, you need to say sorry,” she tells Mrs. Kothari again. Mrs. Kothari holds her head high and says, “I only bow to God.” But Anupama stands her ground until Mrs. Kothari finally says sorry. As she walks away, Mrs. Kothari thinks to herself about how she will get back at Anupama.
Scene 2: The Aftermath
At home, Parag sees Mrs. Kothari looking upset. “Why are you late for prayer?” he asks her. Mrs. Kothari tells him about Anupama making her late. She does not feel good, and her health starts getting worse. Parag quickly brings her medicine and helps her take it. Then Parag turns to Keshav. “Do you remember the lady who made Mrs. Kothari upset?” he asks. Keshav nods his head yes. “Good,” says Parag. “Remember her face well.” His words show that this problem is not over yet.
Scene 3: Family Discussions
At the Shah house, Anupama tells everyone what happened with Mrs. Kothari. Rahi gets very angry when she hears how Mrs. Kothari acted. But before they can talk more about it, Leela changes the topic to happier things. She starts talking about Makar Sankranti, the kite festival coming up. Anupama says she will join the festival fun first and deal with the Kotharis later. Meanwhile, Rahi sits quietly, thinking about Prem. They both want to fly kites together at the festival. But this makes Mahi sad and angry. “Because of Rahi, I cannot fly kites with Prem,” she thinks to herself. She decides she will fly kites alone.
Scene 4: Festival Preparations
The whole Shah family gets ready for Makar Sankranti with lots of joy. Hasmuk, being caring as always, tells Ansh to be careful while flying kites. Rahi gets dressed up nicely for the festival, and Pari teases her about it with a smile. Not far away, Mahi also puts on her best clothes. Anupama watches Mahi and thinks about how she wishes Mahi would find new happiness in her life. The family comes together to pray, and Anupama asks God to keep everyone safe and happy.
Scene 5: Festival Feelings
Rahi cannot stop thinking about seeing Prem at the festival. She keeps daydreaming about meeting him until Mahi comes and breaks her happy thoughts. While everyone gets ready for the kite flying, Anupama’s mind goes to Anuj, missing him during this special time.
Scene 6: The Kite Flying Plans
The Shah family starts making teams for kite flying. But Anupama suggests something different. “Everyone should try flying kites by themselves,” she says. Pakhi does not like this idea. She says, “You’re only saying that because you don’t have a partner.” Anupama looks at Pakhi and replies, “Well, you don’t have one either.” Rahi, watching this, says something smart. “Pakhi, you could team up with Anupama,” she tells her. But before they can decide on teams, Anupama remembers she needs to check on an order. Rahi asks her mom to stay and spend time with her, but seeing Rahi makes Anupama think about Anuj again.

Precap: In the next episode, Anupama will meet Parag by accident. This meeting will not go well, as Parag will get very angry at Anupama.
