Ranbir Kapoor Takes the Spotlight as Mantra Group’s New Brand Ambassador
Ranbir Kapoor has officially been named the Brand Ambassador for the Pune-based real estate developer, Mantra Group. This partnership marks a significant step for the company as it embarks on a new phase of expansion and brand evolution across various segments, including residential, commercial, and retail. Kapoor’s involvement is expected to enhance the Group’s visibility and strengthen its presence in both existing and new markets.
New Brand Film and Expansion Plans
As part of this collaboration, Ranbir Kapoor will star in a new brand film alongside Rohit Gupta, the Managing Director of Mantra Group. This initiative aligns with the company’s strategy to bolster its footprint in the real estate sector while exploring opportunities both domestically and internationally. Founded in Pune in 2007, Mantra Group has transformed from a first-generation entrepreneurial venture into a prominent player in the real estate market over nearly two decades.
Mantra Group has diversified its portfolio significantly in recent years. The company has ventured into new business areas, including branded residences in partnership with luxury brand Jacob & Co. Its expansion into Mumbai has opened doors for large-format developments, while its presence in Pune continues to grow, particularly in the residential and luxury real estate sectors. The Group has also established collaborations with notable names in design and architecture, including designer Manish Malhotra and Ganti Associates.
Parallels in Journeys
The partnership between Ranbir Kapoor and Mantra Group is rooted in the similarities of their journeys. Both the actor and the Group began their respective paths in 2007, evolving their identities over the years. Rohit Gupta remarked, “When we started Mantra in 2007, our focus was on building a strong business in Pune and earning the trust of the families we served. Over the years, that foundation has given us the confidence to think beyond individual projects and look at what we can build as a Group.”
Gupta further emphasized the significance of Kapoor’s role in representing the brand’s evolution. “Ranbir comes at a time when we felt the brand needed a personality who could represent this evolution. There are several parallels in the journeys we have taken, from starting out in the same year to building our own identities and constantly evolving. We are delighted to have him as the face of Mantra as we enter this next phase, with several important milestones ahead.”
The Festival of Choices Campaign
The collaboration will also feature one of Mantra’s major brand and consumer campaigns, titled ‘The Festival of Choices’. This campaign aims to unify the Group’s portfolio under a single platform, showcasing inventory across its projects and offering a variety of consumer benefits through Mantra and its luxury vertical, Burgundy.
Ranbir Kapoor expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “What appealed to me about Mantra is that it has built its journey over time, but has also continued to evolve. There is a clear ambition to grow, explore new markets and think differently about the spaces and experiences it creates.” He added, “I am happy to be part of this next chapter and look forward to what we build together.”
With Ranbir Kapoor as the face of the brand, Mantra Group is poised to communicate its next phase of growth while continuing to develop its premium and luxury portfolio. The Group is also exploring new categories, including hospitality and branded residences.
