Honoring the Legacy of the IAF
The CDS emphasized that this year’s theme for Air Force Day—“Indian Airforce: Infallible, Impervious and Precise”—truly reflects the core values and spirit of the IAF. He noted that the IAF consistently showcases that air power extends beyond combat, representing national strength, resilience, and service to the country.
A Commitment to National Security
General Subramani praised the IAF’s pivotal roles in various operations, which exemplify India’s strategic capabilities and steadfast commitment to preserving the nation’s sovereignty. The IAF’s effectiveness as a first responder during Humanitarian Assistance & Disaster Relief (HADR) operations, both in India and abroad, has garnered respect and gratitude from many.
Progress and Innovation
The CDS acknowledged the IAF’s ongoing progress towards Jointness, Aatmanirbharta, and Innovation (JAI). He commended the incorporation of indigenous platforms, advanced weapon systems, and emerging technologies into the IAF’s arsenal. He also recognized the officers’ efforts in evolving operational concepts and doctrines, underscoring their participation in bilateral and multinational exercises, including the ongoing Exercise Tarang Shakti, which enhances interoperability and strategic partnerships.
A Message to Air Warriors
As he addressed all air warriors, the CDS encouraged them to remain resolute in their dedication, unyielding in the face of challenges, and committed to their missions. As the Indian Air Force marks this significant milestone, its personnel can take immense pride in their contributions to the nation’s defense and security.
