First Look of ‘Tu Hai Meri Kiran’ Revealed: Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal Star in Upcoming Film
The first look of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal from their upcoming film Tu Hai Meri Kiran has been unveiled, offering fans a sneak peek into the romantic thriller set to hit theaters. Directed by Karan Rawal, the film features the duo in lead roles and is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. The poster hints at a captivating blend of romance, mystery, and suspense, while the central plot remains under wraps.
A Nod to Classic Cinema
The title Tu Hai Meri Kiran pays homage to a popular song from the iconic romantic thriller Darr, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Sunny Deol. In the original film, Juhi’s character was named Kiran, and the song became synonymous with her role. This connection adds an intriguing layer to the new film, even as Tu Hai Meri Kiran promises a distinct narrative and treatment.
This film marks another collaboration between Sonakshi and Zaheer, who previously appeared together in Double XL and the 2022 music video “Blockbuster.” Their on-screen chemistry has been well-received, and fans are eager to see how they navigate this new romantic thriller.
Real-Life Romance
Interest in Tu Hai Meri Kiran has been heightened by the real-life relationship between its lead actors. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, who have known each other for several years, made their relationship public before tying the knot in June 2024. Their wedding was a joyous occasion, attended by family and close friends. Since then, the couple has shared glimpses of their life together on social media, further endearing them to fans.
On the professional front, Sonakshi recently portrayed a lawyer in the Prime Video film System, while Zaheer’s last acting role was in Ruslaan. With Tu Hai Meri Kiran, the two actors will explore a different dynamic, blending their personal and professional lives in this romantic thriller.
Production Details
Tu Hai Meri Kiran is produced by Vishal Rana under the banner of Echelon Productions. The film’s first look has officially launched its theatrical campaign, setting the stage for its release. While the poster offers only a glimpse of the world created by Karan Rawal, the combination of romance with elements of mystery and suspense is expected to be central to the film’s appeal.
