B Praak Celebrates Har Ghar Tiranga at Special Concert in Delhi

The Ministry of Culture has brought the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign to a memorable close with a spectacular concert featuring popular singer B Praak. The event, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, was dedicated to commemorating 150 years of the iconic song ‘Vande Mataram’ and united citizens through the power of music and patriotism.

The concert celebrated the spirit of the National Flag as B Praak’s powerful performances resonated with the audience, stirring emotions of national pride and love for the motherland. This event served as a fitting culmination to the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign, which involved various activities from August 9 to 17, celebrating the unity and sacrifice that the flag represents.

A Night of Patriotism and Unity

More than 1,000 students from schools around Delhi joined an audience of over 7,000 people who registered for the event. The evening kicked off with an inspiring performance by young singer Manya Tripathi, who set the tone for the celebration before B Praak took the stage. The artist, known for his heartfelt rendition of ‘Teri Mitti,’ captivated the crowd, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom.

Record Participation and Community Spirit

This year’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign witnessed unprecedented participation, highlighted by the Selfie with Tiranga initiative where more than 8.27 crore selfies were uploaded to the online portal. This surpassed last year’s record of 7.5 crore selfies and showcased the growing involvement and enthusiasm among citizens in celebrating their connection to the National Flag and National Song.

At the concert, Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, emphasized the importance of the Tiranga as a symbol of collective aspirations, sacrifices, and achievements of the nation. He reflected on the significance of this year as it marks 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’, calling the song a timeless expression of love for India.

A Unifying Celebration Across the Nation

The Har Ghar Tiranga movement has evolved into a people’s campaign over the last five years, involving schools, government bodies, civil society groups, and citizens in various activities. Events ranged from Tiranga Yatras to cultural programs and exhibitions that took place across various states and union territories, thereby enhancing community bonds and reflecting national unity.

B Praak’s performance at the Har Ghar Tiranga Concert not only concluded the campaign on a high note but also exemplified how music can unite individuals in shared patriotism. The event stands as a reminder of the vibrancy of India’s cultural heritage and the deep-rooted pride citizens feel for their nation.
