Additionally, the biostimulants market is expected to reach $734 million by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 15.6%. The organic fertilizer sector is also anticipated to expand to $1.13 billion by 2032, with a CAGR of 7%.
Leading fertilizer companies in India, such as Deepak Fertilizers and Nagarjuna Fertilizer Company, are actively exploring opportunities to establish manufacturing units for specialty fertilizers. As the demand for these products increases, the Indian agricultural sector may gradually reduce its reliance on imports. However, the immediate challenge remains: finding alternative sources for specialty fertilizers to ensure food security and maintain agricultural productivity in the face of ongoing geopolitical tensions.
