Sitara Devi (8 November 1920 – 25 November 2014), is a famous Indian dancer. Her name as a Kathak dancer needs no introduction. She had struggled a lot to reach where she was. Very few people know that seeing her dance at the age of sixteen, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore honored her with the title of “Kathak Queen”. Even today people introduce him by this title. Apart from this, Sitara Devi also has ‘Padmashree’ and ‘Kalidas Samman’ in her account, which shows her true dedication and hard work towards Kathak. LK Advaniย is a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. His contribution to making the Bharatiya Janata Party a major party in Indian politics can be said to be paramount. He has been the National President of BJP many times. In January 2008, the National Democratic Alliance had announced to contest the Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Advani and make him the Prime Minister if he wins. Among the names of the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is credited for building the entire party and bringing it to the national level, the name of the front row is LK Advani. LK Advani was sometimes called the party’s leader, sometimes the Iron Man, and sometimes the party’s real face. Overall, LK Advani is an important chapter in the history of the party. The highest position of power that Advani has held in his political career so far is that of the Deputy Prime Minister during the NDA regime. After the formation of the NDA government inย  1999, LK Advani became the Union Home Minister under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and then in this government, he was also entrusted with the responsibility of the post of Deputy Prime Minister on 29 June 2002. Death Anniversary

8 November in Indian history is celebrated as the death anniversary of the following personalities:

Lochan Prasad Pandey (4 January 1887 โ€“ 8 November 1959) was a famous Hindi litterateur. He has also composed poetry in both Hindi and Oriya languages. From the year 1905, his poems started appearing in ‘Saraswati’ and other monthly magazines. Some of the works of Lochan Prasad Pandey are in the form of storytelling and some are retail. He was also a member of ‘Bhartendu Sahitya Samiti’. He had a special reputation among the litterateurs of Madhya Pradesh. Even today his name is taken with great respect. In the year 1923, Lochan Prasad Ji established ‘Chhattisgarh Gaurav Pracharak Mandali’, which later came to be called ‘Mahakaushal Itihasa Parishad’. Lochan Prasad Pandey was simple and sincere. Their behavior was cordial. He inspired the readers to uplift the character through his writings. At that time the preacher’s work was also not like today with the help of literature, so his writings generated interest in the readers towards restraint. He was a respected member of ‘Bhartendu Sahitya Samiti’. There is great respect, respect, and prestige towards them in Madhya Pradesh. He Died on 8 November 1959.

Bommireddy Narasimha Reddy (16 November 1908 – Died: 8 November 1977), was a famous film director of Telugu cinema. He was awarded the highest award of Indian cinema ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Samman’ in 1974 for his unprecedented contribution to cinema. Bomireddy Narasimha Reddy’s younger brother B. Nagi Reddy was also a famous film producer-director. He received many awards including ‘The Padma Bhushan’, and ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Awards’. He died on 8 November 1977.
