ICAR Set to Launch Emerging Science Conclave with Major Highlights
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is gearing up for a significant event on October 10, 2026, with a curtain-raiser and media interaction at the ICAR–Indian Institute of Farming Systems Research (IIFSR) located in Modipuram, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. This event serves as a precursor to the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC)-2026, which will take place from October 27 to 29 at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Dr. M. L. Jat, Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) and Director General of ICAR, will lead the discussions during the curtain-raiser event, emphasizing the role of ICAR in the forthcoming ESTIC-2026. The event will also feature a special address from Shri Rajat Kumar Mishra, Secretary of the Department of Fertilizers at the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
