Anshuman Jha Announces Special Screenings of ‘Om Ka Hari’ in 15 Cities as Film Enters Week 2

Harish Vyas-directed film Om Ka Hari is making waves in its second week of theatrical release. The father-son dramedy continues to resonate with audiences, maintaining screenings in 25 cinemas across the country. Additionally, the film will be showcased in over 50 Army Centres in India, aiming to connect with diverse audiences. Starring and produced by Anshuman Jha, Om Ka Hari delves into the complexities of family relationships, focusing on the emotional bond between parents and children.

Special Screenings and Audience Engagement

In a bid to foster a deeper connection with viewers, the makers of Om Ka Hari have announced a series of special screenings. Anshuman Jha is set to embark on a 15-city tour starting Monday, with stops planned in major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Bengaluru, and Patna. These screenings are designed to engage cinephiles and their fathers directly, moving beyond traditional promotional methods.

Jha expressed his motivation for this initiative, stating, “This is the old-school way of connecting with audiences, not just selling a film to them. I make movies to connect, and my attempt has never been transactional; it has always been emotional. So I am willing to keep working harder and going further to reach my audience.” He drew inspiration from filmmaker Charlie Chaplin, who famously traveled to present his films. Jha aims to replicate this approach, saying, “I want to sit with audiences, watch the film with them, hear what they feel and have conversations with them.”

Expanding Reach Through Army Centre Screenings

In addition to the special screenings, Om Ka Hari will also be shown at more than 50 Army Centres across India. This initiative is expected to broaden the film’s reach, allowing it to connect with audiences who may not have access to regular theatrical releases. The combination of these screenings and the ongoing theatrical run demonstrates the makers’ commitment to engaging with viewers in various settings.

As the film enters its second week, the focus remains on expanding its audience base. The 15-city tour and Army Centre screenings will complement the film’s theatrical release, ensuring that Om Ka Hari continues to touch hearts across different markets..”
