Jhanak prepares to leave for Mumbai, but her health takes a turn for the worse, worrying everyone. Meghla’s Singing Performance and Compliments
The episode begins with Meghla singing the song “Saajan aayo re…” while Jhanak dances. She notices Anirudh, and everyone claps after her performance. Jhanak compliments Meghla on her beautiful singing, while Adrija remarks that all Meghla can do is sing. Despite this, everyone praises Meghla. Anuradha tells Appu that Meghla is her sister-in-law. Appu encourages Meghla to visit often and mentions that she sings a bit too. Meghla acknowledges this, saying Lalon had told her about it. Kajal brings sindoor and a saree. Anuradha asks Jhimli to give them to Lalon. Jhimli explains that it’s part of a ritual where Lalon must give these to Appu as a promise to take care of all her responsibilities. Everyone smiles as Lalon presents the shagun to Appu and makes the promise.
Kajal’s Departure and Jhanak’s Plans
Kajal, however, becomes upset. Anuradha tells Appu to touch Lalon’s feet and get blessings from the elders. Appu obeys. Kajal then hugs Appu, saying that now the ritual is over, and she will leave. As Kajal leaves, Meghla wishes her a safe journey. Jhanak mentions she is going to Mumbai to look for work, but nothing is confirmed yet. Choton offers to drop her, but Jhanak declines, saying she will take a cab. Anirudh insists on dropping her off, but Jhanak refuses again, saying all she ever wanted was love, not anything else. She hugs Appu and Mrinalini before leaving with Choton.
Appu Talks About Family and Missing Jhanak
At the function, Appu meets her family and talks about how nice Anuradha is, making everyone smile. Appu says she’s never been away from Anjana before. Bablu mentions they came to see her and compliments her on her beauty. Appu shares that she misses Jhanak. Dadi tells Lalon to bring Appu home, but Lalon says not to expect that from him. Dadi then suggests that Bablu can stay instead and promises to take care of Appu’s rituals properly. She apologizes if any insults were made and asks Lalon to take her words seriously. Anuradha also asks Lalon not to refuse, and he agrees to come tomorrow but says she shouldn’t ask him to do this again.
Choton’s Plans and Mrinalini’s Concerns
Anjana checks with Appu if she has eaten, and Appu says she has. Anjana then introduces Kajal and praises her. Dadi mentions that she had arranged Choton and Mrinalini’s marriage, but since Choton is thinking of leaving Kolkata for work, she advised Mrinalini to stop him. Appu offers to arrange their wedding, making everyone happy. She asks Mrinalini if she is still upset with Choton, and they all share how much they miss Jhanak. Anirudh arrives, and Appu teases him, saying she has forgotten about him. She hugs him and calls him her best brother, explaining that she gets upset because he hurt Jhanak. Choton gets angry and scolds Anirudh, but Bablu steps in to calm things down. Choton shares that he dropped Jhanak at the airport and understands how she feels.
Bhattacharya’s Generosity and Blessings
Bhattacharya arrives, and both Anuradha and Lalon thank him for organizing everything and being generous with his spending. Bhattacharya asks them to call him Kaka instead of Sir, as he feels like a guardian to them. He offers to host their reception party and apologizes for not being there for them over the years. He blesses Appu and gives her a lovely gift—a beautiful necklace. Anuradha questions the cost, but Bhattacharya insists that Appu is like his daughter. Appu thanks him for being so kind and for saving Lalon.

Meghla and Adrija then arrive, and Anuradha introduces them to everyone. Appu encourages Meghla and Lalon to sing together. Meghla agrees, and Appu pushes her, saying she’ll become famous like Jhanak. Lalon supports Meghla, but Adrija mocks both her and Appu.
Precap: In the precap, Aditya calls Anirudh to tell him that Jhanak’s condition is serious and that she has been admitted to the hospital. He urges Anirudh to come to Mumbai as soon as possible. Anirudh, hearing this, says he’s on his way. Arshi then asks Anirudh when he arrived, and he thinks to himself that he must lie for Jhanak’s sake.
