Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has entered into a partnership with Meta Platforms, Inc. to develop a data centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This facility will have a capacity of 168 MW and is expected to be completed within two years. It will be the first built-to-suit data centre for Meta in India, enhancing the company’s global infrastructure and solidifying its strategic collaboration with RIL in areas such as connectivity and AI innovation.
RIL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh D. Ambani, emphasized the significance of this partnership for India’s digital infrastructure. Under the terms of the agreement, RIL will manage the entire lifecycle of the data centre, including design, construction, and ongoing operations.
