Chandulal Jaisingh Bhai Shah (13 April 1898 – 25 November 1975) was a famous director, producer, and screenwriter of Hindi films. He is counted among the famous personalities of Indian cine history. Jaisingh came into films by accident in a way. He amazed everyone by becoming the most accomplished commercial filmmaker of his time. He was born on 13 April 1898 in Gujarat.
Dr. Najma Heptulla is a famous woman politician with a gentle, and influential personality. She is one of the few women politicians in Indian politics, who have made a place for themselves on the strength of their ability. Najma Heptulla has been the oldest and only Muslim woman member of Prime Minister Modi’s cabinet. She was made the Minister of Minority Affairs. She has been the Governor of Manipur twice. Najma Heptulla was born on 13 April 1940 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Sunil Arora is the 23rd Chief Election Commissioner of India. He is a 1980-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Sunil Arora has taken over the post of Chief Election Commissioner on December 2, 2018. He also served as Secretary to the Government of India in two ministries. Sunil Arora was born on 13 April 1956 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
Ritu Karidhal is a female scientist from India. She is a renowned scientist working in the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). She was the Deputy Operations Director of India’s Mangalyaan Mission. Ritu Karidhal is called the ‘Rocket Woman of India’. Ritu Karidhal has worked on several projects of ISRO and served as Director of Operations for some of them. She was born on 13 April 1975 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Balbir Singh Junior (2 June 1932 – 13 April 2021) was a former player of the Indian hockey team. He was part of the Indian team that won silver in the 1958 Asian Games held in Tokyo, Japan. Balbir Singh Jr lived in Chandigarh after retiring as a Major in the Indian Army. He died on 13 April 2021.
Babu Gulabrai (17 January 1888 – 13 April 1963) was a famous litterateur, essayist and satirist of India. He always gave importance to simple literature, so that the Hindi language could reach the masses. Gulabrai ji has done two types of creations-philosophical and literary. His philosophical writings are the result of his serious study and contemplation. He has extensively used pure language and refined Khadi Boli in his creations. Babu Gulabrai’s place is very high among the essay writers and critics of modern times. He died on 13 April 1963.
Bindheshwari Prasad Mandal (25 August 1918 – 13 April 1982) an Indian politician and Chief Minister of Bihar. He was a leader of the Indian National Congress and was the Chief Minister from 1 February 1968 to 2 March 1968. B. P. Mandal is remembered in history as a hero, especially a great icon of the backward classes, because of the recommendations made as the chairman of the Second Backward Classes Commission. He died on 13 April 1982.
