Ask yourselves why Shivansh is here.” The room froze.

Smita turned to her family. “What is she talking about?” she demanded. No one spoke. Finally, Smita’s father mumbled, “It’s old history. Leave it be.” Shivansh stepped closer. “Old? Your betrayal destroyed my life.” Bua Maa nodded. “They stole his future. Now he’s reclaiming it.” Smita’s stomach dropped. “What did we do?” she whispered. Bua Maa’s voice hardened. “You chose money over trust. Power over love.” Shivansh’s jaw tightened. “The Zaveris took everything from me. My home, my dignity—my right to love Prarthna.” Raunak spat. “You don’t love her! This is revenge!” Prarthna’s head spun. Love? Revenge? She looked at Shivansh. “Is that true?” she asked softly. He hesitated. “Does it matter? We’re married.” Raunak roared, “You’ll regret this!” He grabbed Shivansh’s collar, but security pulled him back. “This isn’t over!” Shivansh straightened his shirt. “It’s just beginning.” As Raunak was dragged out, Prarthna whispered, “I’m sorry.” Shivansh’s voice softened. “Don’t be. Soon, we’ll have everything.” Even if she doesn’t want it , he thought.
