Welcome to Anupama Written Update 11th May 2025. In Today’s Episode, Prarthana’s struggles surface as the Shahs and Kotharis clash over truth and loyalty. Accusations fly, and Gautam’s lies crumble under family pressure. Scene 1: The Shahs’ Sharp Words
Leela stands by the sofa, her hand on her hip. “Prarthana, have some water,” she says, holding a glass out to her. Prarthana takes it, her voice quiet. Anupama, pacing near the window, calls out, “Someone bring more people who need our help.” She looks toward her sister-in-law. “I said shut up, Leela,” Anupama snaps without turning. Leela’s face flushes. She scoffs and then turns to Prarthana. “Do the Kotharis know you’re gone?” Before Prarthana can answer, Ansh steps forward. He folds his arms. “Prarthana, tell me what happened,” he says gently. Leela narrows her eyes at Ansh. “Why do you care so much? Are you in love with her?” she demands.
Ansh raises a hand. “Think before you accuse,” he replies. Leela points at Prarthana. “She came here to steal you away,” she snaps. Ansh holds up his other hand. “That is old thinking,” he says. Suddenly, Leela’s hand flies out and lands on Ansh’s cheek. The smack echoes. Prarthana steps between them. “Please stop,” she urges. “Don’t argue over me.” She turns to Anupama. “I came when you asked me in your hard times.” Anupama gestures to Paritosh, Ansh, and Hasmuk. “Go inside,” she tells them. They file into the next room. She faces Prarthana. “Now you speak,” she says softly.
Scene 2: Whispers at the Kotharis
At the Kothari house, Vasundhara sits beside Parag. She leans in and whispers, “Aryan is in love with Mahi.” Parag blinks. “Why? I was out of town.” Vasundhara tilts her head. “I think Anupama told Mahi to get close to him.” Parag frowns. “Anupama would send all her daughters here?” Vasundhara nods. “Khyati is already with Aryan. I know Rahi is Anuj’s child, so he accepted her. But Mahi is Anupama’s stepdaughter. I can’t see him accept her.” She taps the table. “Rahi follows my lead. I doubt the others will.” Back at the Shah’s home, Ansh still looks troubled. Paritosh spots him and asks, “Is there something between you and Prarthana?” Ansh shakes his head. “She’s a friend,” he says. “Maybe Gautam hurt her.”
Scene 3: Prarthana’s Hard Choice
Anupama sits Prarthana down. “I learned your story,” she says. Prarthana nods, biting her lip. Prarthana stands up. “I want to leave,” she declares. Leela pats her shoulder. “Go home,” she says. Anupama leans forward. “Tell your family what really happened.” Prarthana shakes her head. “I can’t face the Kotharis.” Ishani and Kinjal step close. “We will stand with you,” they say in unison. Prarthana glances at them. “Thank you, but I’ll run away.” Anupama rises. She holds Prarthana’s hand. “If you keep running, you will meet more men like Gautam. Send him away from your life.” Prarthana looks at Anupama. “Will you help me?” she asks. Mahi appears in the doorway, worry on her face. “If Anupama helps you, the Kotharis might block Aryan’s match,” she says softly. Prarthana meets Mahi’s gaze. The room falls silent.
Scene 4: Lies and Truths Unmasked
Raghav watches from the stairs. He straightens his shirt. “If the Kotharis trouble Anupama, I will stay calm,” he vows to himself. At the Kothari house, Gautam storms in. He grips the edge of a table. “Prarthana left me,” he says. “I will fall apart if she does not come back.” Prem stands up and slaps his palm on the table. “You are the reason she ran,” he accuses. Gautam shakes his head. “You do not understand,” he says. He turns to the family. “I wanted more children in this house. She refused.” He lowers his voice. “I think she shares the same sickness as Gayatri,” he adds. Rahi crosses her arms. She and Prem share a look. “He hurt Prarthana,” Rahi says. “He beat her.” Gautam steps back. “No, I did not,” he protests.
Parag stands. He points at Gautam. “I trust you. But lie again, and I will not spare you.” Vasundhara moves closer to Gautam. “I believe him,” she says. Meanwhile, Anupama walks in with Prarthana. She places her hand on Prarthana’s shoulder. Prarthana glances around at the Kotharis. Gautam steps forward. “Are you okay?” he asks softly. Prarthana takes a breath and pushes his hand away. “Do not touch me,” she says. Vasundhara raises an eyebrow. “He says you do not want the child,” she tells Prarthana. Prarthana nods. “He speaks truth,” she says firmly. Vasundhara smooths her sari. “Do not let others sway you,” she says, turning back to Gautam. The family stands in a circle. Anupama holds Prarthana’s free hand. The air is still.

Precap: Anupama sits across from Gautam and narrows her gaze. She asks him directly if he ever treated Prarthana as his wife. Parag turns to Prarthana and urges her to tell her side.
