Scene 1: Preeta’s Unconscious State and Mahesh’s Reaction

Scene 6: Preeta’s Bold Statement
Just as the conversation about the dholak continues, Preeta enters the room. She hears the discussion and decides to make her opinion known. “Where did this idea of a difference between men and women come from?” she asks, looking at everyone in the room. “The world has changed,” she adds, making her stance clear. She questions why men cannot do what women do, especially if women are already doing what men traditionally do. Her statement makes everyone pause and reflect.
