Kriti Sanon Takes Center Stage in New Horror Film from Maddock Films, Their Ninth Collaboration

Kriti Sanon is set to venture into the horror genre with an upcoming film backed by Maddock Films. Following her recent performances in “Cocktail 2” and “Tere Ishk Mein,” the actress has reportedly locked in this new project. This film marks a significant shift for Maddock Films, known for its horror-comedy franchise, as it will focus solely on pure horror.

A New Direction for Maddock Films

Sources indicate that this upcoming film will be a full-fledged horror project, distinct from Maddock’s previous supernatural offerings. The details surrounding the film, including its title, director, and release timeline, remain undisclosed. However, the excitement surrounding the project is palpable, as it represents a new direction for the production house.

A source close to the development shared, “After receiving praise for her performances in Cocktail 2 and Tere Ishk Mein, Kriti Sanon has finally locked her next project. She’s always been keen to explore different genres, and this time, she’s stepping into the world of pure horror with a large-scale film produced by Maddock which she will be headlining.” This project will be Sanon’s ninth collaboration with Maddock Films and her second solo lead with the production house after “Mimi.”

Kriti Sanon’s Evolving Career

Kriti Sanon has previously collaborated with Maddock Films on several successful projects, including “Raabta,” “Luka Chuppi,” “Mimi,” “Bhediya,” and “Crew.” Her versatility has allowed her to take on a range of roles across various genres, from comedy to drama and supernatural themes. With this new horror film, she is expected to tackle a genre she has not headlined in its pure form before.

The source added, “Unlike Maddock’s horror-comedy universe, this film will be an out-and-out horror film, a space the production house is exploring for the first time. The makers are looking to mount it on a grand scale, and while details are currently under wraps, it’s an exciting project to look forward to.” As of now, the film has not been officially announced, and further information regarding its story, director, cast, and release date is still awaited.
