Emraan Hashmi’s Gunmaaster G9 Teaser Drops Tuesday, Plus Theatrical Screening with Toxic

The promotional campaign for Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film, Gunmaaster G9, is set to launch on August 25, with the release of the film’s teaser. This action-romance will provide audiences with their first official glimpse digitally, while also allowing them to catch the teaser on the big screen. The dual release strategy aims to maximize visibility for the film ahead of its theatrical debut.

Teaser Screening Details

Sources indicate that the Gunmaaster G9 teaser will be screened in theaters showing Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. However, it will not be attached to the print of Toxic. Instead, the teaser will be shown separately at participating theaters, giving audiences a chance to see the promotional material during their cinema visit. This approach is designed to attract viewers who are already attending Toxic, thereby increasing interest in Gunmaaster G9.

The digital release of the teaser will precede its theatrical screenings, allowing Emraan Hashmi’s fans an early look at the film. With Toxic expected to draw significant audiences, the teaser’s theatrical showcase is anticipated to further enhance Gunmaaster G9‘s visibility.

Emraan Hashmi’s Career Momentum

The teaser launch comes at a pivotal moment in Emraan Hashmi’s career. Following the release and performance of Awarapan 2, the actor has seen a resurgence of interest in his upcoming projects. Gunmaaster G9 marks his next major theatrical release, making this teaser a crucial first step in introducing the film to audiences.

The film features a talented cast, including Emraan Hashmi, Genelia D’Souza, and Aparshakti Khurana. Directed by Aditya Datt, Gunmaaster G9 is produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut, and Sangeeta Ahir, and presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. This project is a production of SRE Studio LLP.

Release Date and Promotional Strategy

Gunmaaster G9 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026. The promotional campaign is kicking off several months in advance, allowing the filmmakers to introduce the film’s world and characters to audiences through the teaser.

By combining a digital teaser launch with a separate theatrical screening, Gunmaaster G9 aims to establish a presence across both online and cinema audiences. The teaser is expected to set the tone for the film’s promotional journey leading up to its November release.

Aditya Datt, the film’s director, has also shared insights about the casting process, revealing that Aparshakti Khurana was his first choice to play the villain, stating, “He has never played an out-and-out commercial and crazy-ass villain.”
