Giriraj Kishore (8 July 1937 – 9 February 2020) was an Indian writer, who was awarded the Padma Shri by the president of India in 2007.

Life and Career

Giriraj Kishore was born on 8 July 1937, in Muzaffarnagar.

He started his career by contributing stories, essays, and poems to various literary magazines. His writing style was known for its simplicity yet profound insights into human emotions and societal issues. He often delved into themes such as the struggles of the common man, social inequality, and the complexities of human relationships.

Kishore gained recognition for his works which resonated with readers across India.
