Scene 1: Neelam’s Request and Lakshmi’s Call to Shalu
The episode begins with Neelam asking Lakshmi to call Shalu. Lakshmi looks at her, a little confused, and asks, “Why should I call her?” Neelam explains her reasoning with calm authority. “I told Rishi not to bring you to this party. It’s not because I didn’t want you here, but because I thought you might feel awkward. I was right, wasn’t I? It’s better if you call Shalu to keep you company.”
