Ayushmann Khurrana Targeted: Receives Threatening Audio Message with Demands for Crores
Ayushmann Khurrana has reportedly become the target of a threatening audio message, with the sender demanding a substantial sum of money. This alarming incident marks the latest in a series of extortion threats directed at individuals in the film industry, prompting police investigations. According to a report by Aaj Tak, the individual behind the audio clip claims to have ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Investigation Underway
The police are currently analyzing the audio message to determine the identity of the sender. They are cross-referencing the claimed identity with existing voice samples in police records to verify the authenticity of the threat. As of now, Ayushmann Khurrana has not publicly commented on the situation or responded to the reports.
This incident follows a pattern of threatening messages received by other personalities in the entertainment sector. Notably, actor Tusshar Kapoor also received a threatening audio message from someone identified as ‘Harry Boxer.’ However, preliminary investigations suggested that this particular message might have been a hoax.
Increased Police Vigilance
In light of these threats, police have intensified their efforts to investigate such incidents. This comes after a recent incident involving gunfire directed at actor Tiger Shroff. Authorities are actively working to identify the individuals and gangs responsible for sending extortion messages to members of the film fraternity. The ongoing investigation aims to determine whether these threats are connected or represent separate cases.
On the professional front, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in the film “Udta Teer,” where he starred alongside Sara Ali Khan. Produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain, the film is a collaboration between Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.
“Udta Teer,” written and directed by Akash A Kaushik, features a talented ensemble cast, including Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Gulshan Grover, Suhail Nayyar, Rahul Bose, Mukul Dev, Ram Kapoor, and Supriya Pilgaonkar. The film tells the story of a spy who inadvertently disrupts a world filled with secrets and distrust, leading to a series of chaotic events. It combines elements of comedy, action, and drama, presenting a fast-paced narrative that keeps audiences engaged.
