A Milestone in Public Asset Management
This e-auction marks NLMC’s inaugural end-to-end e-auction initiative, which not only highlights its operational capabilities but also sets a benchmark for future monetisation transactions. The successful completion of two phases in just one month significantly strengthens NLMC’s potential to handle similar initiatives involving surplus land and assets owned by public sector enterprises.
Encouraged by this success, NLMC plans to launch a third round of e-auction soon for the remaining unsold land parcels, with further details to be shared as they become available. This initiative is pivotal in aiding the Government of India to effectively realise the economic value of underutilised public assets.
