Ministry of Ayush Drives Major Cleanup and Grievance Resolution
The Ministry of Ayush has achieved remarkable progress during its Special Campaign 6.0, which ran from October 2 to October 27, 2026. In this period, the Ministry addressed 309 public grievances and 50 appeals, showcasing its dedication to improving citizen engagement and administrative efficiency. Additionally, a series of 220 cleanliness drives were executed, focusing on enhancing workplace cleanliness, record management, and optimizing office space utilization.
Streamlining Operations and Enhancing Efficiency
During the campaign, the Ministry conducted a thorough review and disposal of 1,525 files, successfully reclaiming approximately 1,030 square feet of office space. This effort resulted in generating ₹1,89,298 in revenue from the sale of scrap and obsolete records, further emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to effective resource management and improved administration.
Continuing the Cleanliness Mission
This initiative builds on the Ministry’s involvement in the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign, held from September 17 to October 2, 2026. As part of this campaign, officials identified 32 Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs), with 20 successfully transformed. Activities aimed at promoting cleanliness and raising public awareness engaged both Ministry staff and local communities.
Empowering Sanitation Workers and Promoting Environmental Sustainability
The SHS campaign also highlighted the importance of public participation and the welfare of sanitation workers. A total of 131 sanitation workers took part in the campaigns, with 88 receiving recognition for their valuable contributions. Awareness programs featured cleanliness-focused competitions and environmental initiatives. On the final day of the SHS campaign, known as Swachh Bharat Diwas, the Ministry planted 31 trees, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability.
Future Focus
The Ministry of Ayush is determined to continue its efforts under Special Campaign 6.0, emphasizing the timely resolution of pending grievances and appeals, systematic record management, and cleanliness. By focusing on these areas, the Ministry aims to enhance administrative effectiveness and foster a cleaner, more organized, and citizen-centric work environment. The ongoing initiatives are a testament to the Ministry’s relentless pursuit of excellence in public service and community engagement.
