Abundantia aiON Teams Up with InVideo to Launch Debut Film ‘Beta Builder’
Abundantia aiON, the AI-driven creative studio of Abundantia Entertainment, has announced its inaugural film, “Beta Builder,” in collaboration with AI video technology firm InVideo. This project marks the beginning of a three-film slate backed by a joint investment of Rs. 100 crores. “Beta Builder” is inspired by Sukriti YJ’s novel, “Beta Builder: Mumbai In The Metaverse,” and aims to blend storytelling with cutting-edge technology.
The Story of “Beta Builder”
“Beta Builder” follows the journey of Jai, a self-taught architect from Dharavi, who seizes an opportunity to fulfill his dreams in a virtual reality landscape. However, as he navigates this new world, Jai learns that success involves more than just personal achievement. He must confront systemic barriers, win the affection of his love interest, and empower his community to shape its own destiny. Set against the backdrop of one of Mumbai’s most iconic neighborhoods, the film explores themes of ambition, belonging, and the essence of building something enduring.
The film is being developed under Abundantia aiON’s “Human-First, AI-Empowered” creative philosophy. This approach emphasizes the importance of human storytelling while leveraging AI throughout the production process, from development to the final screen presentation.

Future Projects and Developments
“Beta Builder” is the first of five AI-driven films that Abundantia aiON and InVideo plan to develop over the next three years. The broader slate will include fully AI-generated features, as well as live-action and hybrid productions. The rollout of these titles is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
Founded in 2013, Abundantia Entertainment has produced notable films such as “Baby,” “Airlift,” “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha,” “Shakuntala Devi,” “Sherni,” and the “Chhorii” franchise, among others.
