Collective Studios’ Historyverse Unveils Original Series Focused on Bhagat Singh
Collective Studios’ Historyverse has announced an exciting new original series centered on the life of Bhagat Singh. This project is in collaboration with Hathiramani Commercial Ventures and co-produced by investor and entrepreneur Manish Hathiramani. The series aims to provide a fresh perspective on one of India’s most revered freedom fighters, exploring the experiences and influences that shaped his journey from a young revolutionary to a national icon.
Exploring the Man Behind the Legend
The upcoming series promises to delve deeper than the well-known events of Bhagat Singh’s life. It will focus on his childhood, formative experiences, and the intellectual influences that contributed to his worldview. By examining the social and political environment of early 20th-century India, the series will trace how these elements evolved throughout his life, ultimately defining his enduring legacy.
Sudeep Lahiri, Head of Channels and Distribution at Collective Media Network, expressed enthusiasm for the project. He stated, “There are some figures in our history whose stories we think we know completely. Bhagat Singh is one of them. But behind the icon was a young man whose ideas, influences and experiences shaped the person he would become. That is the story we are interested in exploring.” Lahiri also highlighted the excitement of collaborating with Hathiramani, emphasizing their shared vision of uncovering new perspectives in well-trodden narratives.
A Personal Journey for the Producer
For Manish Hathiramani, this project marks his debut as a producer and reflects his personal interest in exploring lesser-known aspects of India’s history through entertainment. He shared his fascination with Bhagat Singh, stating, “Bhagat Singh is a figure whose life has always fascinated me, but what interests me most is the person before the legend. We know the revolutionary, the freedom fighter and the icon; this series gives us an opportunity to understand the many facets of Bhagat Singh’s life and the journey that shaped him.” Hathiramani expressed his delight in producing this project with Historyverse, aiming to present a fresh perspective on Singh’s life and legacy.
