This synchronization of efforts aims to foster a sense of unity and shared responsibility among citizens in the pursuit of a cleaner environment.
Messages from Leadership
During the event, Union Minister Shri C R Patil emphasized the significance of cleanliness, recalling Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings on “Swachhata” alongside “Swantantra.” He acknowledged the progress made under Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s leadership in the Swachhata Andolan. Patil highlighted the importance of the Yamuna River as a vital resource for Delhi and urged participants to consider the impact of their actions on pollution levels. He encouraged everyone to actively engage in the Shramdaan, reinforcing the message that prevention is key to maintaining cleanliness.
