In Today’s Episode, Jhanak escapes danger with the help of a kind-hearted villager and starts anew in Simbulboni under the name Nutan. Meanwhile, Apu anxiously awaits Jhanak’s return, and Arshi grapples with her complicated past, unsure of her future with Aniruddh….. Scene 1: A Stranger’s Kindness on a Chaotic Bus Ride
The episode begins with Jhanak sitting quietly on a crowded bus, her eyes darting nervously toward Rahul, Kulbhushan’s goon. The fear in her face is evident as she tries to distance herself from him. Suddenly, the conductor interrupts her thoughts by asking her to buy a ticket. Jhanak hesitates and explains that she doesn’t have money but offers her ring instead. The conductor mocks her for not having cash, making her feel small. Just then, Rahul steps forward, claiming he will pay for her ticket. A villager seated beside Jhanak watches this exchange carefully. He turns to Jhanak and asks who Rahul is. She quickly replies that Rahul is dangerous and not someone to be trusted. When Rahul calls Jhanak his sister-in-law and insists she come home with him, she firmly denies knowing him. She pleads with him to leave her alone. The villager, now understanding the situation, scolds Rahul for harassing Jhanak. He buys a ticket for Jhanak and tells Rahul to back off.
Jhanak opens up to the villager about Rahul’s past attempt to kidnap her. The villager reassures her that she has nothing to fear anymore because he is taking her to Simbulboni. Rahul tries to argue, claiming it’s none of the villager’s business, but the latter demands proof that Jhanak belongs to Rahul. Without waiting for an answer, the villager makes a call, informing someone that he is bringing two guests—one special guest—along with him. This seems to unnerve Rahul, who retreats without another word. Before parting ways, the villager warns Jhanak not to break his trust. Overwhelmed, Jhanak bursts into tears. The villager consoles her, promising to stand by her side until she is safe. He also vows to protect both her and her unborn baby. His words bring some comfort to Jhanak, who feels a glimmer of hope for the first time in days.
Scene 2: Apu’s Tears and Lalon’s Search
Meanwhile, back at home, little Apu cries inconsolably, calling out for Jhanak to return. Jimli brings water for Apu, but the child refuses to drink it. Anuradha tries to calm Apu down, explaining that Jhanak will surely come back since Aniruddh and the police are searching for her. However, Apu remains worried, asking what might happen if something bad occurs to Jhanak. Kajol steps in, assuring Apu that Jhanak would never make a reckless decision.
Just then, Lalon arrives, and Apu rushes to him, desperate for news. Lalon sadly admits they haven’t found Jhanak yet. Hearing this, Apu breaks down again. Kajol pulls Apu close, urging her to stay strong and not lose hope. Apu begs Lalon to bring Jhanak back to her. Moved by the child’s plea, Lalon hugs Apu tightly, promising to do everything possible to reunite her with Jhanak. This scene paints a heartbreaking picture of how deeply Jhanak’s absence affects those who love her. Despite the uncertainty, everyone clings to the hope that she will return safely soon.
Scene 3: Arshi’s Painful Homecoming
On another front, Arshi returns to her family home, visibly shaken. Her arrival sparks tension between Vinayak and Srishti, who immediately begin arguing. Noticing their discord, Arshi declares she plans to leave. Vinayak questions whether Siddarth abandoned her, prompting Arshi to reveal the truth—that Siddarth never intended to marry her and only used her. Srishti presses Arshi for details, shocked by the betrayal. Vinayak, however, shows no sympathy, accusing Arshi of reaping what she sowed. He criticizes her for leaving Aniruddh for Siddarth, blaming her lack of self-respect for her current predicament. Srishti interjects, pointing out that Aniruddh betrayed Arshi too by marrying Jhanak. She suggests Arshi should move back to Bose House and live with Aniruddh, despite everything.
Arshi hesitates, fearing rejection. “What if Aniruddh doesn’t accept me?” she asks. Vinayak bluntly replies that she cannot force him to take her back. Srishti argues that mistakes were made on both sides—Aniruddh’s error was Jhanak, while Arshi’s was Siddarth—and urges them to start afresh. Vinayak dismisses her advice as nonsense and storms out, refusing to involve himself further. Alone with Srishti, Arshi confesses her pain, saying Aniruddh might still resent her for ending their marriage. Srishti counters that a husband provides protection, reminding Arshi of the importance of fighting for her rights. They decide to visit Bose House the next day, though doubts linger in Arshi’s mind.
Scene 4: A New Beginning in Simbulboni
The following day, Jhanak reaches Simbulboni with the villager. As they step off the bus, Rahul appears momentarily but becomes visibly frightened when he sees the crowd gathered around them. Jhanak, too, feels uneasy until the villager reassures her that these are his people and there’s nothing to fear. Realizing he cannot take Jhanak away, Rahul backs off silently. The villager addresses the gathering, explaining Jhanak’s plight and seeking permission for her to live in the village. To everyone’s relief, the villagers unanimously agree, saying they have no objections. Grateful for their acceptance, the villager turns to Jhanak, asking if she wishes to stay. Jhanak nods, expressing her desire to build a new life here.
As a precaution, the villager sternly warns Jhanak never to betray his trust. He then instructs his men to escort Rahul to the police station. Turning to Rani, a woman from the village, he asks her to take care of Jhanak. Later, Rani gently asks Jhanak her name. Reflecting on her past, Jhanak requests a fresh identity. Recalling how Brij Bhushan once named her Nutan, she decides to reclaim that name. With determination in her voice, she tells Rani, “My name is Nutan.”
