Scene 1: Confrontation at the Crossroads
Jhanak stands face-to-face with a distraught woman, clutching a baby tightly. “I know the truth,” Jhanak says firmly. “You took this child, but you can’t care for them now.” The woman’s voice shakes as she replies, “I didn’t know my husband would abandon me.” Jhanak doesn’t back down. “What you did was wrong—a sin.” The woman pleads, “I can’t live without this baby. I’m terrified of jail!”
Jhanak extends her hand. “Give me the child. Their parents are my relatives. Do you think they’ll have a future with you?” The woman hesitates. “I can’t fix my mistakes,” she whispers. Jhanak softens. “I won’t harm you, but this baby deserves better.” The woman’s eyes fill with tears. “I love them,” she insists. Jhanak nods. “I’ll raise them as family. Deep down, you want what’s best, don’t you?” The woman admits she does. Jhanak pulls out her phone. “I’m recording this. If I show this to the police, you’ll face consequences.” The woman freezes. Reluctantly, she hands over the baby. “Can I see them again someday?” she asks. Jhanak takes her number. “When the time is right, I’ll reunite them with their parents.” The woman walks away, glancing back once.
Scene 2: Chaos at the House
At home, Aniruddh paces anxiously. “Call Jhanak! I need to apologize!” he demands. Mrinalini chimes in, “We all should apologize.” Nearby, Lalon checks on Apu, whose fever spikes. “I’m taking her home,” he says. Apu weakly calls for Jhanak. Mimi volunteers to find her but returns empty-handed. “She’s gone!” she exclaims.
Aniruddh storms upstairs, recalling Jhanak’s earlier plea: “Postpone the marriage!” He searches the house, then reappears grim. “She left. Again.” Shubhankar mutters, “Good riddance.” Apu sobs, “I want Jhanak!” Anjana tries to comfort her. Aniruddh orders Choton, “Find her. Now.” Vinayak arrives, asking to speak to Jhanak. Choton shakes his head. “She’s missing.” The group disperses, tension thick in the air. Meanwhile, Bipasha argues with Laal. “You can’t kick me out!” she snaps. Laal retorts, “Leave, or I’ll give you 24 hours to decide.” He offers a flat and monthly money. Bipasha demands legal help from Shubhankar, who refuses. “You’re on your own,” he says.
Scene 3: Betrayal on the Highway
On a lonely road, Arshi steps in front of Siddharth’s car. He rolls down the window. “What are you doing here?” he asks coldly. Arshi stammers, “Why are you avoiding me?” Siddharth gestures to the woman beside him. “This is Simran, my girlfriend.” Arshi’s face pales. “But… you promised to marry me !”
Siddharth sneers. “You’re after my money and status. Grow up.” Simran glares at Arshi. “Leave him alone.” Arshi pleads, “How could you do this?” Siddharth’s tone turns icy. “Go to your parents—or your husband. You don’t belong here.” Arshi hugs him desperately. “Don’t make a scene,” he warns, pushing her away. Simran insults Arshi, who fires back, “He used you!” Siddharth steps out, furious. “Stay away, or I’ll ruin you.” He drives off with Simran. Arshi collapses, crying. The scene fades as her tears hit the asphalt.
Scene 4: Danger Lurks
Jhanak boards a crowded bus, cradling the baby. A man beside her asks, “Are you okay?” She nods, avoiding eye contact. Suddenly, she spots Rahul, a goon working for Kulbhushan, lurking nearby. Her breath quickens. Rahul smirks, pulling out a phone to alert his boss. The camera zooms in on Jhanak’s worried face as the bus speeds toward the village.
