Remarkable progress achieved by the Ministry of Steel in reducing pendency of public grievances

The Ministry of Steel has achieved considerable success reducing dependency of public complaints in the period from November 2022 to August 2023 as sold 854 public complaints, 126 appeals of public complaints, 118 MP references, 3 Parliamentary assurances, 3 State Government references AND 4 PMO References. During this period, the Ministry of Steel also adopted eOffice 7.0which is a complete digital workplace solution for government offices, aimed at bringing greater transparency, efficiency and accountability to government transactions, resulting in increased productivity.

‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ (16-31 March 2023): Best Practices

The Ministry of Steel and all PSUs under its administrative control viz. SAIL, NMDC, RINL, KIOCL, MOIL, MECON, MSTC and FSNL observed the ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ from 4pmth-31th March 2023. During Swachhata Pakhwada, PSUs under the Ministry undertook various activities like administration of Swachhata pledge, cleaning of nearby townships, factories, villages/slums, cleaning of schools run/adopted by them under Swachh Vidyalaya, awareness program on reducing the use of single-use plastic, etc.
