10th National Community Radio Awards Held

The 8th National Community Radio Conference took place in Mumbai on May 3, 2025, organized by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting alongside the World Audio-Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES). During the event, Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. L. Murugan, presented the 10th National Community Radio Awards to 12 exemplary community radio stations. The conference aimed to enhance the community media landscape in India, emphasizing innovation and inclusivity.

Dignitaries, including Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and IIMC Vice Chancellor Dr. Anupama Bhatnagar, attended the event, reinforcing the government’s commitment to supporting community media initiatives.
