Xiaomi has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, in China on February 27. This new device joins the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro in the company’s premium lineup, marking a significant upgrade from last year’s Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The launch comes just in time for the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, showcasing Xiaomi’s commitment to innovation with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and the new HyperOS 2 user interface.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Pricing Details

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is available at a starting price of CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 78,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. For those seeking more storage, the 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 6,999 (around Rs. 84,000), while the top-tier 16GB + 1TB model costs CNY 7,799 (about Rs. 93,000). Customers can choose from a variety of color options, including classic black and silver, as well as pine and cypress green. Additionally, Xiaomi offers a Professional Imaging Kit as an accessory for CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 12,000), enhancing the photography experience for users.

Specifications of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra operates on the Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and features a dual SIM (Nano) setup. It boasts a stunning 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The display supports HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision, providing an exceptional viewing experience. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s advanced octa-core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which can reach clock speeds of up to 4.32GHz. It is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options of up to 1TB using UFS 4.1 technology, complemented by the Adreno 830 GPU.

In terms of photography, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a sophisticated quad rear camera system housed in a circular module. This includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensor with 3x optical zoom, a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP9 telephoto sensor, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The device supports video recording in up to 8K at 30fps or 4K at 60fps, while a 32-megapixel front camera caters to selfies and video calls.
