As the world prepares for the upcoming COP30, Guterres urged developed nations to fulfill their commitments to climate adaptation finance and to contribute meaningfully to the Fund for loss and damage. He stressed the urgency of delivering the promised $1.3 trillion to support vulnerable countries facing the dire impacts of climate change.
