Maulana Bayu Rizky Pratama, whose 17-year-old brother is among the missing, expressed his desire for good news, stating, “I hope my brother will be found soon. I feel sad thinking of him being down there for four days.” Similarly, Ahmad Ikhsan, a father of one of the missing students, remains optimistic, saying, “I believe my son is still alive.”
The emotional toll on families is palpable, with many expressing their fears and hopes to the media. The uncertainty surrounding the rescue efforts has left them in a state of limbo, as they grapple with the possibility of loss while holding onto the hope of a miracle.
