Special Campaign 2.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters and Swachhata Drive being conducted in Ministry of Textiles

Special Campaign 2.0 for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) and Swachhata Drive has been implemented with full enthusiasm in the Ministry of Textiles. The objectives of the campaign were to minimize dependency, institutionalize swachhata, strengthen records management and digitize physical records.

The Ministry of Textiles and all subordinate and annexed offices, Autonomous bodies, Statutory bodies and CPSE, actively participated in the campaign from December 2022 to August 2023. The Ministry has focused on sensitization of nodal officers, identification of pendency in selected categories, disposal of scrap and management of records. The Ministry successfully completed the campaign through enthusiastic participation, regular monitoring and active involvement of field offices.

During the period, 3,441 files were disposed of, 896 public complaints and grievances were resolved, 333 cleanliness drives were conducted, 1,194 sq. ft. space was cleared and revenue of Rs.66,308 was generated from scrap disposal. The progress of the campaign has been regularly published on the SCPDM portal of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Complaints (DARPG). In particular: www.pgportal.gov.in/scdpm.
