Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Color Options Revealed Online, Excluding ‘Orange’

As excitement mounts for Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, new leaks are shedding light on its color options, a key consideration for many potential buyers. Recent insights suggest a shift in Samsung’s marketing strategy, particularly regarding the phone’s primary launch color. With the device generating buzz for months, the latest information hints at a vibrant palette that could redefine the smartphone’s appeal.

Purple May Replace Orange as Lead Colour

A recent post by tipster IceUniverse on the social media platform X has reignited interest in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The post featured images of four SIM card trays purportedly associated with the upcoming device. These trays often serve as early indicators of the official color options, as they typically match the phone’s final finish. According to the leaked images, Samsung may introduce the Galaxy S26 Ultra in four colors: Black Shadow, White Shadow, Galactical Blue, and a striking purple shade dubbed Ultraviolet.

What is particularly noteworthy is the designation of Ultraviolet as the “hero” color. In the smartphone industry, this term refers to the color that companies emphasize most in their promotional materials. Previous leaks had suggested that Orange would take on this prominent role, but the latest information indicates a change in direction. Another industry insider, Ahmed Qwaider, has confirmed that purple will be the main color, while Orange may not be included among the standard options at all.

The leaked color names have also sparked discussions due to the absence of the word “titanium.” This detail raises questions about a potential design shift, supporting earlier reports that Samsung might move away from using a titanium frame for the Ultra model. If this is accurate, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may follow a trend similar to Apple’s recent decision to forgo titanium in favor of aluminum for its latest Pro models.

Hardware Upgrades Expected Under Familiar Design

In addition to color and materials, several other details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra have emerged through various leaks and reports. While Samsung is not anticipated to make significant changes to the phone’s overall design, some hardware upgrades are likely. The device may feature a slimmer body and a display capable of achieving higher brightness levels. The camera hardware is expected to remain familiar, with a 200MP main sensor, although Samsung could introduce a new 24MP shooting option.

Memory and charging capabilities may also see enhancements. Reports indicate that Samsung could increase the RAM to 16GB on select variants, although this could impact pricing due to supply chain conditions. Furthermore, discussions are underway regarding charging upgrades, with wired charging speeds potentially increasing to 60W and wireless charging reaching 25W.

Despite the growing number of leaks, Samsung has yet to confirm any of these details. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to make its debut at the next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place on February 25. Until then, both color options and specifications remain fluid as more information continues to surface.
