Television actor Rohit Chandel, known for his role in the Star Plus show “Sairaab,” has been granted bail by a Mumbai Sessions Court amid serious allegations. Court Grants Bail with Conditions
Special Judge Shashikala S Nagur approved Chandel’s bail after his lawyer, advocate Saveen Bedi Sachar, informed the court that the chargesheet had been filed. The court set the bail amount at Rs 50,000, requiring Chandel to provide a surety of the same amount. Along with his release, the court imposed strict conditions on him. He is prohibited from tampering with or threatening the victim and prosecution witnesses. Furthermore, he must not contact the victim or her family in any manner, including through phone calls or social media.
The court also mandated that Chandel must not induce, threaten, or make promises to anyone associated with the case to prevent them from disclosing information to the court. These measures aim to ensure the integrity of the ongoing legal proceedings.
