Prime Minister reiterates commitment to protect the elephant on World Elephant Day

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi reaffirmed his commitment to protect the elephant on World Elephant Day.

In response to the tweet of Union Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Shri Bhupender Yadav, the Prime Minister said;

โ€œOn World Elephant Day, we reaffirm our commitment to protect the elephant, which is closely associated with India’s rich natural heritage. I also appreciate everyone who works in this direction. I share some glimpses from my recent visit to the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. ๐Ÿ˜โ€
