The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of noted singer, Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. Shri Modi said that his songs reflected a wide range of emotions to the people of all age groups.
The Prime Minister tweeted.

Popularย singer KKย left for his heavenly abode on May 31. Ismail Darbar said he was charmed by the late singer’s maasumiyat (innonce) when he first met him when he sang one of KK’s most popular songs, ‘Tadap Tadap’ from ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.ย Speaking about the ‘crazy’ experience of recording ‘Tadap tadap’, Ismail told TOI, ‘He (KK) was fast asleep when I went to him at 4 am in the studio to tell him it was time for him to record the song. At 4 in the morning, he sang Tadap Tadap.
