This innovative feature relies on encrypted location data sent by the owner’s device and other devices connected to Google’s Find My Device network. When the OnePlus 13 is connected to this network, it securely shares the location information of nearby devices, enhancing the chances of locating a lost phone.
The technology behind this feature is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which integrates advanced mobile connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and Ultra Wideband (UWB) capabilities.
