Ministry Launches Tree Planting Campaign to Honor Mothers
In an inspiring initiative, the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, under the guidance of Minister of State Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, launched the **“एक पेड़ मां के नाम”** campaign on September 25, 2026. This event took place at the Animal Quarantine and Certification Services (AQCS) campus in New Delhi as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 initiative.

He explained that planting a tree in honor of a mother is not just about cultivation; it symbolizes planting a legacy for future generations. “When we plant a tree in our mother’s name, we plant life for the future,” he remarked.
