Rajveer and Palki’s Playful Moment
Rajveer is drinking juice when Palki’s dupatta gets stuck under his shoe. She comes over and asks him what’s going on. Rajveer is confused until she points out her dupatta. He compliments it, calling it beautiful. She tells him it’s stuck under his shoe. As he lifts the dupatta, he jokes that his shoe understands what’s in his heart. Palki asks what the shoe understood. Rajveer replies that it doesn’t want her to leave because he hasn’t spent enough time with her yet. Palki tries to walk away, but Rajveer pulls her onto his lap. She feels nervous and asks him what he’s doing. Rajveer says he’s loving her. He asks her a question, wondering how she feels about Miss Arora. Palki reminds him that he’s the son of Mr. Karan Luthra. Rajveer responds that Karan Luthra has two sons and suggests her name would be Palki Rajveer Luthra. Palki says she really likes that name. Preeta says there’s still something more important, reminding Karan that their daughters-in-law will soon become part of the family. She adds that the real responsibility begins when the daughters-in-law come into the home, and it’s up to them to make the women feel like it’s their own house too. Karan agrees and says that daughters are lucky because they get two families. Preeta explains that leaving their own home is hard for women because they love the house they grew up in. She isn’t saying this just because she’s a woman, but also because she doesn’t have her parents anymore. But Bi jee feels there’s something deeper and tells Daljeet to talk to Preeta about keeping some distance from Karan now that they’re family. Daljeet agrees, saying she’ll talk to Preeta when the time is right.
Tensions Between Shaurya and Palki
Meanwhile, Palki angrily confronts Shaurya, accusing him of ruining her dupatta. He tells her she should’ve pulled it gently, but Palki is frustrated and asks why he stood on it like it was a rug.
