Designed with gamers in mind, the company has teased several features and specifications ahead of the official launch. The event promises to reveal crucial details about the device, including its pricing and availability.

Launch Event Details

The iQOO 15 Ultra will be officially launched today at 7:00 PM local time in China, which corresponds to 4:30 PM IST. During the launch, the company is expected to disclose the final specifications, pricing, and availability of the device, generating excitement among tech enthusiasts and gamers alike.

Expected Pricing and Availability

While iQOO has yet to announce the official price for the iQOO 15 Ultra, it is anticipated to be positioned above the standard iQOO 15 model, which launched in China at a price of 4,199 yuan (approximately ₹51,800). Analysts predict that the iQOO 15 Ultra will likely start in the range of 5,499 yuan to 5,999 yuan. Currently, there is no confirmation regarding a launch outside of China, and iQOO has not provided any information about potential releases in India or other global markets. The company’s decision on wider availability may depend on the initial response from consumers in the Chinese market.

Specifications and Features

The iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to boast a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a stunning 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This advanced LTPO panel allows the refresh rate to adapt based on usage, optimizing power consumption during everyday tasks while providing higher refresh rates for gaming and video playback. Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, marking it as the second smartphone from iQOO to utilize this chipset. The device is anticipated to support up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.

In addition to its impressive hardware, the iQOO 15 Ultra will introduce a new Q3 gaming chip, replacing the Q2 chip found in the standard iQOO 15. The device will also feature air triggers on its frame, allowing users to customize shoulder-style controls for an enhanced gaming experience.

On the camera front, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to include a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera with CIPA 4.5 stabilization. For selfies and video calls, the front-facing camera is anticipated to be a 32MP unit. Powering all these features will be a robust 7,800mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 100W wired fast charging and wireless charging capabilities, with speeds expected to match or exceed the 40W support seen in the standard model.
