During the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla emphasized the Indian Constitution’s commitment to equality and social inclusion. He also noted the role of India’s “Digital Parliament” initiative in enhancing efficiency and transparency in parliamentary operations. During the discussions, the President of the National Assembly of Vietnam emphasized the need to strengthen defense and technology ties between the two countries. He extended an invitation to Shri Birla to visit Vietnam, signaling a desire for deeper collaboration. The formation of a friendship group between India and Vietnam was also discussed, reflecting a mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral relations.
