India vaccination drive – Day 105
India vaccination drive has administered 27 lakh vaccine doses on day 105. The vaccination drive was rolled out on 16th January 2021.
On Day-105 of the vaccination drive (30 April 2021), a total of 27,44,485 vaccine doses were given. Among which, 15,69,846 beneficiaries were vaccinated for 1st dose and 11,74,639 received 2nd dose of the vaccine.
So far, more than 15.5 cr (15,49,89,635) vaccine doses have been administered. It covers around 12.7 crores of the first dosage and around 2.8 crores for the second dosage to HCWs, FLWs, beneficiaries aged more than 45 years of age.
New COVID-19 cases across states
India’s daily cases are continuously rising. 4,01,993 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours.
Ten states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar reported 73.71% of the new cases.
Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at 62,919. It is followed by Karnataka with 48,296 while Kerala reported 37,199 new cases.
3,523 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Ten states account for 76.75% of the new deaths. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (828) followed by Delhi (375) and Uttar Pradesh with 332 daily deaths.

COVID cases across states
India’s total Active Caseload has reached 32,68,710. It now comprises 17.06% of the country’s total Positive Cases. A net incline of 98,482 cases recorded from the total active caseload in the last 24 hours.
Eleven states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar cumulatively account for 78.22% of India’s total Active Cases.
India’s cumulative recoveries stand at 1,56,84,406 today. The National Recovery Rate is 81.84% with 2,99,988 recoveries being reported in the last 24 hours.
