HMD Skyline 2 Name Emerges Online; Expected Launch Imminent

HMD Global is reportedly developing a successor to its HMD Skyline smartphone, which was first launched in July 2024. A tipster has hinted at a potential release timeline for the HMD Skyline 2, although the company has not yet confirmed the device or its name. The upcoming smartphone is anticipated to feature enhancements over its predecessor, but specific details regarding its specifications remain undisclosed. The original HMD Skyline was introduced in India in September 2024.

Expected Launch Timeline for HMD Skyline 2

According to a recent post on X by tipster HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60), the HMD Skyline 2 is expected to debut in select global markets in July. However, the post did not provide additional information about the new handset. The same tipster also suggested that HMD might unveil other models, including the Skyline 2GT and Fusion 2, in the near future. The Skyline 2GT is speculated to be a gaming-oriented device. As HMD has not officially confirmed any of these names, it is advisable for consumers to approach this information with caution.

Current Features of HMD Skyline

The existing HMD Skyline model is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and boasts a 4,600mAh replaceable battery.
