This iconic site is a major pilgrimage destination for Buddhists worldwide. The ceremony will mark the beginning of the Indian leg of the journey, which will then proceed to Sri Lanka.

In Sri Lanka, the expedition will receive a ceremonial welcome in Jaffna. This event will highlight the enduring Buddhist ties between the three nations. It will also serve as a platform for cultural diplomacy, fostering goodwill and cooperation among the countries involved. The Sri Lankan leg of the journey will emphasize the importance of maintaining strong cultural and spiritual connections across borders.

The expedition is not just a motorcycle journey; it is a celebration of shared values and beliefs. It aims to bring people together through the teachings of Buddha, promoting peace and harmony in the region.
