Gaya Railway Station to undergo massive makeover
The Gaya Railway Station in Bihar is proposed to undergo a massive makeover. The railways have prepared a blueprint for the redevelopment of Gaya Junction at an estimated cost of 300 Crore and floated a tender for the project. The project is likely to be completed by 2024 end. Once the project is completed, passenger handling capacity is expected to be tripled.
The new design incorporates traditional and modern architectural elements, combining them together to create a unique and iconic structure.
