Joint outcome statement: India-UK round ten FTA negotiations
On 9 June 2023, the Republic of India and the United Kingdom concluded the tenth round of talks for an India-UK Free Trade Agreement.
As with previous rounds, this one was conducted in a hybrid fashion: a number of British officials traveled to New Delhi for negotiations and others attended virtually.
Technical discussions took place in 10 policy areas in 50 separate sessions. They included detailed discussions of the draft treaty text in these policy areas.
The eleventh round of negotiations is expected to take place next month.
