Sony LIV, Birla Studios, and Applause Entertainment have commenced production on “Scam 2010,” directed by the acclaimed National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta. This new series will explore the rise of a financial empire built on small savings schemes and the subsequent public scrutiny that followed its growth.
A Story of Ambition and Arrogance
Hansal Mehta shared insights about the series, stating, “Scam 2010 is a story about ambition, influence and the arrogance that follows both. It looks at how one of India’s largest business empires was built on belief — and what happened when that belief ran out. It tells the fascinating story of the rise of an empire and the man who mistook it for invincibility.” The narrative promises to delve into the complexities of ambition and the consequences that often accompany it.

Siddharth Bodke, who has been cast in the lead role, shared his excitement about the character he will portray.
