Veteran actor Anupam Kher has officially announced the completion of shooting for his latest film, Yeh Prem Mol Liya. Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, this upcoming romantic musical family drama marks another collaboration between Kher and the acclaimed filmmaker. Taking to social media, Kher shared a series of photos and videos from the set, reflecting on their long-standing partnership and describing the project as “another beautiful chapter” in their journey together.
Anupam Kher Reflects on His Journey with Sooraj Barjatya
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Anupam Kher revealed that the film wrapped production the previous night. He expressed his gratitude towards Sooraj Barjatya, the cast, and the crew, emphasizing the film’s profound impact on him. “I’ve known Sooraj from the time he was an assistant on my very first film, Saaransh. Since then, we have shared the journey of more than eight films together. Watching him evolve into one of the greatest storytellers of our times has been a privilege,” he wrote.
Kher praised Barjatya for his dedication to portraying Indian family values and relationships in his films. “In a world where cinema, like everything else, is constantly changing, Sooraj has remained beautifully constant. He has protected and celebrated the ethos of Indian families, relationships, compassion and values without ever compromising on honesty or emotion. His films don’t merely entertain, they become a part of our lives,” Kher added.

The music for the film is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, marking a reunion with Sooraj Barjatya after their collaboration on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015.
