Ashoke Pandit Calls Out Kangana Ranaut Amid Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 Controversy

The ongoing controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh’s exit from the highly anticipated film Don 3 continues to generate significant reactions within the Bollywood industry. As various celebrities express their opinions, filmmaker and Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) representative Ashoke Pandit has responded to comments made by Kangana Ranaut, who recently voiced her support for Singh. The situation has sparked a heated debate about the complexities of success and the challenges faced by actors in the industry.

Kangana Ranaut’s Support for Ranveer Singh

At the trailer launch of her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, Kangana Ranaut came to the defense of Ranveer Singh amid the ongoing controversy. She drew parallels between her own experiences in the industry and Singh’s situation, suggesting that making enemies often accompanies success. Ranaut stated, “I have faced bans and boycotts in the past but continued to work successfully in the industry.” Her comments highlighted the struggles that many actors face as they navigate their careers.

Ashoke Pandit’s Response

In response to Ranaut’s remarks, Ashoke Pandit expressed disappointment over what he perceives as a misunderstanding of the issue at hand. Speaking to HT City during a press conference organized by FWICE, he emphasized that many industry figures were commenting without a full grasp of the facts. Pandit remarked, “A lot of people in the industry have started abusing us. Yesterday, Kangana also said something. We are not understanding the whole issue, and people are just commenting.” He further added, “You talk nonsense, that’s why I banned you. I don’t care. There is a big issue of the industry here. You don’t even know the issue. You are just saying things. We are not against Ranveer. We are talking about what has happened.”

Clarification from FWICE

Pandit’s comments come as FWICE has repeatedly clarified its stance regarding Ranveer Singh. The federation has stated that it has not sought a ban on the actor but is instead investigating complaints related to his departure from Don 3. The controversy began after Singh exited Farhan Akhtar’s film, despite being officially announced as the new face of the franchise. A promotional video featuring him had already been released, but reports indicate that concerns about financial losses incurred by the production led to a complaint that reached FWICE.
